My body aches for your touch;
Stars aligned that night
As clear as vera cruz.
So I wasted my time watching
The gentle daffodil
As it crumbled.
Missing you
While the grass
Breathed sweet empathy.
With morning dew
Shimmering like opal
you wanted more
As the summer rain
Takes the dawn away.
The sun arose
And you didn’t care.
The moon settled
and i wondered where you were.
Darkness
can be as comforting
As light.
